  • Enquiry forms — name, email, organisation, assessment of interest, and message content
  • Engagement materials — data exports and recordings you voluntarily provide for analysis (often containing limited donor activity fields)
  • Technical logs — standard server or hosting logs such as IP address and browser type
  • Cookies — as described on our cookies page

Purposes

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, deliver contracted analytics work, issue invoices, improve site reliability, and meet legal obligations.

Where applicable, we rely on contractual necessity for engagement work, legitimate interests for site security and basic analytics, and consent where you accept optional cookies.

Retention

Enquiry messages are kept up to 24 months unless a longer period is needed for an active relationship. Engagement working files are retained for up to 36 months after project close, then deleted or anonymised, unless law requires longer retention. Financial records follow Malaysian statutory periods.

Sharing

We use hosting, email, and accounting providers who process data on our instructions. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when required by Malaysian law or to protect rights and safety.

International transfers

Some processors may store data outside Malaysia. Where transfers occur, we seek appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable requirements and the sensitivity of the data.

Your rights

Subject to Malaysian law, you may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, or object to certain processing. Contact info@appcornercore.click. You may also lodge a complaint with the relevant Malaysian authority.

Donor data in exports

When clients share donor-app exports, they remain responsible for lawful collection and for limiting fields to what the engagement needs. We instruct teams to avoid national ID numbers and full payment credentials. We do not use donor records for marketing.

Children

This site and our services are directed at nonprofit organisations and adult staff, not children.
