Three questions your board will ask about the donor app

Prepare answers on attribution, recurring health, and drop-off points before the analytics brief reaches the table.

Team discussion around a table with notebooks

Board chairs rarely ask for funnel diagrams. They ask whether the Deepavali appeal truly brought new monthly givers, whether recurring gifts are slipping, and where supporters abandon the form.

Attribution. Tie gifts to the campaign tags your team actually used. If tagging was inconsistent, say so — invented precision damages trust faster than an honest gap.

Recurring health. Show active recurring counts beside failed renewals for the last quarter. A falling active count with rising failures points to payment or reminder issues, not “donor fatigue” as a vague slogan.

Drop-off. Name the screen or step with the largest abandoned-gift count. Pair it with one change you can make before the next appeal.

An Appcornercore brief is written to answer these three questions in plain language so the fundraising lead is not translating charts under pressure.
